Panjim: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) continued its offensive against the Congress for its inability in handling Pratapsingh Rane and the situation arising out of his outbursts against Goans abroad.
AAP spokesperson Ramiro Mascarenhas said the true anatomy of the Congress has come out in the open with MLAs thumping their desks in cheer at the derogation of the very people who kept them politically alive.
“This man had no hand in the Opinion Poll. He was with the MGP. Because of the trust the people placed in the Congress, Goans are getting humiliated with insults,” Mascarenhas said, deploring Congress’ inability to get him to apologise.
Meanwhile, in the wake of reports of arrests of WRD engineers at the Mahadei diversion site at Kankumbi in Karnataka while on inspection, AAP said Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar should write another letter to Yediyurappa for help so that such incidents are not repeated by Karnataka in future. [H]
