Feast of Don Bosco Celebrated in Kuwait

The feast of Don Bosco was celebrated in Kuwait on 31st January 2002 at the Holy Family Cathedral for the second consecutive year . The 6.30pm mass by Fr. Derrick Misquita (SDB) was followed by a family get-together for the Past Pupils and their families.
Speaking on the occasion Fr. Derrick thanked all those present for their support and help. He broke the good news that Don Bosco School will start soon in Kuwait. He also announced with profound grief the passing away of 8th successor of Don Bosco, Rev. Fr. Juan Edmundo Vecchi, who died in Rome on 23rd January 2002.
The event was superbly planned with games in which the young and old competed with much gusto & enthusiasm. The hall was festooned with religious concepts but with a dash of humour. The relic of Don Bosco was bought all the way from Turin (Italy) just for the occasion. To top the occasion was the buffet of scrumptious food. Everyone had a wonderful time, especially the past pupils who had a lot to reminisce and renew old acquaintances.
