Caldo Verde – Soup

Introduction :

A very popular soup served in Goan Restaurants and in many Portuguese Restaurants too.


Ingredients :

500 gms potatoes, boiled and mashed
1 1/2 litres water
3-4 garlic, chopped finely
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup finely chopped spinach
Salt as per taste
Pepper as per taste
1 onion, chopped finely

Preparation:

3-4 serving
Making Time: 40 minutes

1. Mix all the ingredients
2. Bring it to boil
3. Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes
4. Serve hot
