"Hi! My name is Mario and I'm one crazy guy! (That's why I've joined POSITIVE PEOPLE) I am 40 years old and I'm tall, dark and handsome (just the opposite, actually!). I've done my MA in English Literature and worked as a business man for ten years selling poultry feed and paints (see, I told you I was crazy) !
My first love – apart from my wife and baby – is singing (with a capital "S") and my dream is to sing with Celine Dion some day some time. I also love theatre, acting and the stage is where I really come alive.
I like people and I enjoy working with 'em, especially with young people. They stimulate me and make me give my best.
I'm very comfortable with people – genuine people, not those who wear masks or put on fake accents. I detest hypocrisy, two facedness, pettiness, bitching and backbiting.

"I am Sadique born on the 1st of July 1967, hailing from Bhubaneshwar, Orissa, India. I have successfully completed my Masters degree in Social Work with specialization in Labour Welfare and Personnel Management. I also have a Bachelors degree in Law from Utkal University and M.Phil in Psychiatric Social work from NIMHANS Bangalore. My specialized areas of work include Industrial counselling, HIV/AIDS counselling, counselling drug addicts, alcoholics and their families, Family therapy. I also have the experience of being a Trainer in the areas of HIV/AIDS and teaching in Psychiatric Social Work. I have also worked with psychiatrically ill persons and their families and have experience in rural and urban development work."

"In my project there are lots of truckers who are not fully aware of STD's HIV/AIDS and there are misconceptions too, so I work as a Health educator. I think health camps are a must at all halt points."

"I am Ibrahim born on 18/12/1974 at Gulbarga (Karnataka State) and working in the Healthy Highway Project as an Outreach Worker with drivers, cleaners and helpers and I'm happy with my work. I have worked in a hospital as a laboratory technician and would like to work as a male nurse for those who have HIV/AIDS for I've seen that some of the hospital staff do not take proper care of HIV patients. I would like to educate young persons who really don't know about HIV/AIDS. I joined POSITIVE PEOPLE in March 1999 and have learnt many things and now I am confident about my area of work."

"I am Azeem Pasha born on 1st June 1970, hailing from Raichur, Karanataka, India, educated upto 10th std in Karnataka. I have been in Goa for eight years and worked as sales man for seven years. For the past one year I am working as a health educator, the official term is Outreach worker, for the Healthy Highway Project which caters to the needs of truck drivers, sex workers and helpers in HIV/ AIDS, STD's, awareness and treatment in an Non Government Organisation called POSITIVE PEOPLE. The languages I am proficient include Kannada, Telugu, Konkani and Hindi. Working in the Healthy Highway project gives me a lot of satisfaction as apart from educating, imparting information on STD's,HIV/AIDS and trying to bring about a behaviour change, I am able to speak in my native language with the truck drivers and helpers and I feel like I am staying in my native place with my own people."
