About the Author:

Henry Scholberg was born of American missionary parents at Darjeeling (India) in 1921. He has been a librarian since 1954, and was until 19xx Professor and Librarian, in charge of the Ames Library of South Asia at the University of Minnesota.

Ms. Archana Ashok Kakodkar in 1988 was Librarian, Goa University, Goa
Mr. Carmo Azevedo was a research scholar (in Goa)
