Ex-minister wants Goa Miles taxi service withdrawn

Margao: Alleging that the government is supporting somebody by permitting the app based Goa Miles taxi service, former minister Mickky Pacheco asserted that a small state like Goa does not need this service and demanded its immediate withdrawal.

Briefing media persons, he said it was not fair to have around 20 vehicles registered with Goa Miles parked at the Colva Residency when in Colva there are 200 taxi operators, who are feeding their families with whatever they earn daily from taxi service. [H]
