Untitled(The poem is not untitled. The title is untitled, get it?) Suddenly I saw him, there he stood He hadn't changed much, he looked good I thought of the time when we were together All that had happened didn't seem to matter He was so kind, he was so sweet I didn't want to see him, I didn't want to meet But still we did and no one said a word It was so quiet nothing could be heard He didn't even look, he just stood there There in the dark, he didn't even care Suddenly it became bright and all his friends were there But where was I? I was nowhere When we were together I was in the spotlight But now I stood in the dark, in no ones sight I felt so alone, I felt so bad He had forgotten me and it made me so mad They were dancing there so far away And that's how it would stay He will always be in the brightness far away And I will move further into the darkness every day
Written by Darleen LoboShadowsShadows hanging over thee Crying like a weeping willow tree Words of sadness on a blank sheet Tears of time until we meet Yearnings growing, getting stronger Each day goes by it seems longer Answered prayers give thy faith Will time this once stand still and wait Hopes of joy, looks of sadness Thinking of thoughts that bring thy gladness Stars above and grass below Lying awake with what thy knows Brown bright eyes that look upon The place where thy does not belong Silent grows thine cry for help Hiding in thy little shell Wishing for what thy can not get Desires of what they will not let Feelings that keep summing up So high till thy can not reach the top Sounds of laughter so far away Dreaming of that one special day Talking to a brick stone wall Mind so big, made so small Little precious kept out to steal Wounded feelings that just won't heal Hurt by strangers that call themselves friends Thy broken heart, thy can not mend Kisses of disseat, swears of love Fly around thy heart and head above Confused mind and loving soul Feel the pain of what one stole Soft pillow of grass and blanket of stars So close by and yet so far It gets dark and it gets bright What you seek stays out of sight Shadows hanging over thee Why won't thy make place for brightness to see What lies down here waiting for the day When finally will find thy own way Written by Darleen Lobo
