While all the above mentioned reptiles have been documented by me in the last 3 years of systematic documentation, which includes guidance from Mr.Neelim Kumar Khaire, Poona Snake Park, The Bombay Natural History Society, and others. Most of the species have also been photo-documented but due to some technical problems of photographic equipment, they are missing. The list includes the species found in the Western Ghats of Goa, the urban species and those found along the coasts as well. This list is a compilation of rationalized data until March 2002, based on authentic sightings and handlings of specimens mentioned in the list.
