the most auspicious and important festivals for the Hindu community
in Goa. The very colourful and exuberant event will be celebrated on
August 22 this year. The ethnic celebrations packed with music,
chanting and fireworks, last from one-and-a-half day to 11 days and
above.
We give below a few

Ganesh idols have been moulded and painted by the Natekars, a
household of talented sculptors, who have in the art of business for
over 75 years. In the last frame, you can see Jayant Natekar, giving
the finishing touches to one of the lovely images.
