All the Way from Dubai... For some reason or other Goans have crossed the borders of their native land and spread all over the world, right up to Siberia...Antarctica...But for every reason possible they look back to their beloved Goa..every now and then...Hey, nostalgia...If any race is known for it...it must be the Goenkar. It is nostalgia...that prompted Dubai-based SAVIO MADEIRA to sponsor this issue of GoaNOW. It has been delayed much beyond expectations...every one's. Savio, who is in the employ of McDERMOTT and lives happily in Dubai along with his wife Belita and children Gary and Gillian misses no opportunity to fly back and holiday in his beloved Goa.
