In order for members residing across North America to get to know each other, GOYAN organizes periodic meetings.
  • For our 4th anniversary Summer, a whole series of events were held in the NY/NJ area including a Brazilian Fusion concert, Jazz concert, Dinner outings in Manhattan, Six Flags outing in New Jersey and our first Goyan barbeque party. Pictures
  • The GOYAN Halloween bash on October 30th in Herndon, Virginia was attended by around 30 GOYANkars dressed up in costumes from the ghoulishly scary to the enchantingly beautiful. Pictures
  • Over 30 attended our Chicago trip, Labor day weekend Sept. 3rd -6th.

  • August 7th Picnic at Bear Mountain, NY. A small group of around twenty enjoyed the "mando session" and games at picturesque Bear Mountain.
  • On August 6th 1999, GOYAN celebrated it's first birthday in New Jersey by having our first GOYAN social, the GOYAN Extravaganza. Over one hundred attended making the event a complete success. Pictures
  • The Goan Association of New Jersey, Inc. hosted the fourth North America Goan Reunion in New Jersey, July 4th 1999. More than fifteen of us converged there.
