Mapusa: “Mapusa needs a leader with clear mind who would take people along to develop the city. If Mhapsekars want to see ache din, then there is a need for leadership change in Mapusa,” Deputy Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly Michael Lobo said at a college function in the city.
Suggesting that the villages surrounding Mapusa be maintained as such to preserve the culture, he contended that that a city like Mapusa requires infrastructure. “People all over Bardez come to Mapusa for marketing. However, there is no parking space in the city. Mapusa is in a total chaos, hence, needs a proper planning,” he said.
