Panjim: PWD Minister and MGP leader Ramkrishna (Sudin) Dhavalikar said that since Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar will return to Goa within a week there was no need for change in leadership.
“There will be no major policy decision in the next eight days and other ministers like me, Vijai Sardesai, Rohan Khaunte, Mauvin Godinho etc are capable of running the government,” he said.
On what would be MGP’s stand, in case there is a change of leadership decision by BJP, he said, “Let us see when the time comes.”
He criticised the opposition for raking up the issue unnecessarily and said Congress should instead put its house in order. “Every time there is voting in the Assembly they themselves are 3 to 4 short,” he said. [H]
