1 cup grated coconut
2 tablespoon unsweetened kokum syrup
5-6 kokum skin dried
3-4 garlic cloves
1 fresh coriander leaves
- Grind grated coconut, chilli and garlic together in a mixer and add crushed garlic and chillies. (You can use use coconut milk if no gratedcoconut is available ).
- Strain the coconut mix in a strainer or a muslin cloth to remove the fiber.
- Add the kokum syrup to coconut milk. Add salt and coriander. (If no unsweetened kokum syrup, use 5-6 dried kokum skin).
- Let it sit for 15-20 minutes till its pink and then its ready to serve.
