Sudin discharged from hospital, to return to state tomorrow

Panaji : Minister for Public Works Ramakrishna ‘Sudin’ Dhavalikar will return to Goa on July 17.

Dhavalilar who had been admitted in a Mumbai-based hospital last week and underwent a surgery as well as some specific tests, has been discharged from the hospital as per a statement released by his brother Dr Sandeep Dhavalikar and the Dhavalikar family.

“He will not be personally available for the people and will not attend any functions till August 13, except Goa assembly session,” says the statement, adding, “Hence all are sincerely requested to allow him some time to recover fully so that he can be available for them at the earliest.”

“People of Madkai constituency in particular are requested to meet his son Mithil or his brothers for their urgent grievances,” the statement says, pointing out, “His brother Dilip will be available on every Saturday at the residence for official work.” [NT]
